ASUS M310 Handset Offers 2M-Pixel CCD Camera with Auto Focus to Deliver Sharper Images

ASUSTeK Computer Inc. (ASUS) today introduced the M310 mobile phone, which comes equipped with a built-in 2M-pixel, CCD digital camera and auto focus functions. Photographs taken with the M310 are simply sharper, clearer and always in focus. Teamed with designs that leveraged metallic materials, the M310 exudes professionalism for today’s business users.


Sharper images
CCD (Charged Coupled Device), which acts as the film of digital cameras and often implemented in astronomy telescoped, is more sensitive to lights than the mainstream CMOS image sensor, and hence captures more vivid images. The 2M-pixel built-in camera in the M310 teams CCD technology and auto focus functions, to deliver advanced digital photography for high-quality photographs and video that are always in focus.

Combined with the 2.2-inch, 320 x 240-resolution main display, images displayed on the M310 are colorful, bright and sharp. The all-new ASUS handset also supports 3GP video records and playbacks at 15 frames/sec to present a total visual solution.

PC Outlook synchronization

The M310 also offers daily, weekly and monthly viewing options for efficient schedule management. Also available are capacity for 1,000 phone numbers, 9 speed dials, 10 voice commands and 10 voice dials.
